New West Concrete began with a simple goal: strengthen rural communities through great concrete and even better relationships. What started with the purchase of a multi-generational plant in Fort Qu’Appelle has grown into a network of operations across southeastern Saskatchewan.

2020
New West Concrete Ltd (NWC) was founded
In April 2020, New West Concrete Ltd (NWC) is founded by the Trapp family in Saskatchewan – built on three generations of business experience and a strong track record of growing companies through both organic expansion and acquisition.
2020
Acquisition Of H. Walkington Concrete
In September, NWC acquires the operating assets of H. Walkington Concrete in Fort Qu’Appelle, SK – their first acquisition of a multi-generational ready-mix concrete business, rooted in long-standing ties between the Trapp and Walkington families.
2022
Expanding Through Southern Saskatchewan
In April, NWC acquires the operating assets of Cee Bee Trucking Ltd in Indian Head, SK – their second acquisition of a multi-generational ready-mix concrete and aggregate business in the region.
2025
Welcoming Crushrite Concrete to NWC Group
NWC acquired Crushrite Concrete (2008) Ltd, with operations in Moosomin and Esterhazy, SK – its third multi-generational acquisition, reinforcing a commitment to reliable concrete and aggregate services across Saskatchewan.
